Welcome to Balancing Act!  Life is just that - a balancing act - and mine is no more challenging than anyone else's.

One of my best (and probably worst) character traits is that I put 110% into everything I do: my studies, nannying, yoga, running, modeling. . . and the list goes on.  As you can imagine, that kind of dedication takes quite a toll on a person, but what I've learned from this juggling act is invaluable (that's what this blog is about).

A game changing adventure that came along August of 2016 & changed my trajectory immensely- the universe works in mysterious ways.  Just when I'd finally chosen my major, psychology, a modeling contract came my way, so it is off to Dubai for 3 months.  I can say that those 3 months taught me more about myself & life than I had ever learned in a classroom. I chose to quit modeling a few months after I returned from Dubai which was a mini-identity crisis.

A year anniversary after my departure from Dubai I jumped on a plane to Bali to complete my 200 hour yoga teacher training certification which has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

After 4.5 years in undergrad with a  BA in psychology major and a minor in art, I was accepted into Adler Graduate School to complete my Masters Degree in Art Therapy. The adventure/ shit show continues.

Within this blog then, I will chronicle my experiences - and at times opinions - as I continue my balancing act.
