L.A.X. & Life Lessons

Holy crapola, another semester has come and gone in the blink of an eye.

As some may know, I started out the semester with two car accidents and ended the semester with getting a puppy the week before finals who ended up have parvavirus and a vet bill that cost more than my car.

The first 5 months of 2018 have been jam packed with life lessons to say the least. But as I reflect I have gained a new perspective.

Without a car, I got to have more quality time with my friends driving in their cars on grocery runs jamming out to their ridiculous play lists. As for the puppy, I will acknowledge it might not have been the most logical time to get a puppy- but I do not regret it and I saved that pups life.

I thought that fall semester was academically the most challenging semester I had ever had in college, sadly I was mistaken, spring semester was by far the hardest.

This was also the first semester in my entire college career where I did not give a flying "d"uck about my grades or GPA because I was too busy soaking up some of the last college moments with my friends. (yet some how I managed to get 4 A's and 2 AB's)

I chose to go to Stranger Things Trivia Night with my friends instead of studying for my exam that I knew I was screwed for the next day.

I went out on Thursdays (more than usual).

Binge watching New Girl with Demi was far more productive than studying for Physics.

I actually watched the Bachelor because that meant time with my roommates who I would probably never live with again (except for my soul sister Demi).

Demi, Adele, and I made huge mega beds in the living room on Thursday nights because who knows when we will get to do it again.

There are far more adventures that I could go on about.

Regardless it was a whirlwind of a semester and I am so proud of all my favorite people that graduated this year (sadly I have another semester left). LAX will miss you and so will I!
