21 Intentions
I think a new year symbolizes the rejuvenation of patience for ones-self in attempts to strive to become the best versions of themselves. I think attempting these 21 things in my next year will bring me one step closer to the person that I want to be.
1. Finish reading at least one book every two months.
2. Volunteer more at the community garden or animal shelter
3. Finish writing my book
4. Sketch or doodle in my sketchbook for 21 consecutive days in a row
5. Call my grandparents more often. They aren't getting any younger
6. Attend horse races at Canterbury Park
7. Attend a native American Pow-Wow
8. Use more moisturizer & sunscreen...
9. Learn how to file taxes (because basically I am an adult)
10. Get certified to become a yoga instructor
11. Throw a kick ass Halloween party
12. Join the Psychology Club at my University
13. Take more pictures
14. Compliment myself & someone else every day
15. Call the kids I nanny for more often, before I know it they will be in Middle School.
16. Have a little less road rage & a little more patience
17. Do something that absolutely terrifies me (like maybe I'll take a Biology class or donate blood)
18. Learn Dutch...to the best of my abilities
19. Eat more protein!!!
20. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, & forgiveness. The world needs it.
21. Honor my body at least once a day whether that be sleeping in past 6am, going for a walk or hike, doing yoga, or indulging in chocolate every now and then.
